Travel to Washington D.C.

Last week I returned from my trip to Washington D.C. to participate in Kalachakra 2011 and to see His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. Here are a smattering of impressions that have been inspiring me.

  1. Amazing photos! I went to Washington D.C. as a teenager and have always wanted to go back as I would enjoy and be inspired by the history and museums much more now than then! ~Val

  3. Your pictures and the way you put them together are quite haunting, and quite moving. I don't know how to explain it really, but it felt like silence feels after being in a busy crowd (does it make sense ?)
Thanks for sharing, i found it inspiring :)

  4. So fun to connect over our memories of DC, Val!!

Erin, maybe we can trade off glasses from time to time :) Good to see you!

Flo, wow I love how you described this feeling of how the pictures fit together! This idea of silence after a crowd is exactly how I like to live my life but I could have never put it into words like that. Thank you so much for seeing this in my photo story!!
