|Firebird, Beth Hemmila (Hint Jewelry): sterling silver phoenix charm|
A lot of people stop by Hint Jewelry looking for a protective charm to buy for themselves or someone else. Many times people tell me their stories. Along the way I've been able to learn some of the ways that people are using Hint Jewelry charms to give them courage, strength, self-acceptance, love, protection, and peace.
This phoenix charm, I call Firebird, was purchased by a father for his son for when he traveled overseas. The son had a particular connection to the symbol of the phoenix, and his father thought that a necklace with the Firebird charm might offer his son strength while traveling abroad in places that might not always be hospitable.

Charms are symbols that help us call to mind things we want to cultivate our lives such as love, faith, peace, courage, and strength. By looking at a charm in the morning and night when you put it on and take it off and touching a charm throughout the day with your hand, you keep reminding yourself of what you are needing most and then offer it to yourself in that moment.
